DELIVERY TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Your order from the Memory Chest Company are all home-delivered anywhere in mainland UK . For deliveries outside the mainland UK, please e-mail for a quote before you order, and we well be happy to oblige. We like to try to deliver anywhere in the world. (or, should we say, we can find someone who can!)

All our deliveries are made by professional delivery companies and the Royal Mail via the Post Office.

We will contact you with your delivery details before the goods leave us, and we can track your order through to delivery day, or in most cases, we can give you the information and you can track the consignment yourself at home via the internet (for larger items only)

Please note that we aim to post most items within 24 hours of payment of your order. Lead time on special orders are a little longer. 

Under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) any order made by The Memory Chest Company to customer specifications cannot be cancelled. However, because we are nice people to deal with we therefore do allow amendments to your order if you notify us in time.

We cannot accept any cancellations or amendments after this period nor can we accept any purchase back once it has been delivered to you the customer unless there is a fault or warranty issue.

Our nominated delivery agent undertakes to deliver to the specified address, not to a specified person. If there is no-one present then: the customer agrees that our agent may at its discretion attempt to deliver to a neighbouring address within a reasonable distance of the delivery address. If this occurs a customer contact card will be left at the specified delivery address, and the customer agrees that this constitutes delivery to the specified address in the despatch documentation. If the consignment is undelivered for the reason that there is no-one to take delivery, or no-where else to deliver in the immediate vicinity, it will be the customers responsibility to pay for return delivery charges thereafter.

We do not undertake to intercept a consignment in transit before delivery has been attempted.

We shall not be liable in respect of any Consignment delivered to the delivery address or other address specified by the addressee, where any person misrepresents his authority to receive a Consignment on the addressee’s or Customer’s behalf, or where it is being delivered in accordance with instructions from, or purporting to be from the addressee.

On delivery of a Consignment, the agent will request the person who accepts delivery (not necessarily the addressee in person) to sign an acknowledgement receipt, which may include signature by electronic means. Copies of such receipt shall be available for a period of six months from the date of delivery, subject to payment of the charge as then published.

All goods are fully insured in transit.
